Good to Sea
Designer of clean maritime transport

Green Catamarans
Acting sustainably and changing the way we think by designing boats equipped with electro-hydrogen propulsion, Green Navy is a major player in energy transition and the decarbonisation of maritime transport. Innovation and the evolution of electro-hydrogen technologies are at the heart of our projects. At Green Navy, we offer innovative solutions to the current energy and environmental challenges facing maritime transport providers.
Modular superstructure, suiting your needs
A design that enhances the experience.
Green Navy has developed a unique and smart platform hosting modular superstructures that can be adapted to your requirements. Our ships are 25-metre catamarans (LOA), designed as versatile working tools. We offer a PAX, CARGO or MIXED option for sale or long-term lease.
Design, resistance, adaptability, weight: in partnership with G-sea Design, Green Navy pushes the limits of traditional methods, by using calculation software which was until now used only for the design of boats intended for extreme navigation. What seemed impossible is your new reality.
Expertise and innovation
The Merré shipyard, a specialist in naval construction for over a century, produces our boats in France. Merré specifically works with port authorities, shipowners, and operators to provide the vessels needed to protect the environment.
The construction of our first catamaran (passenger version), named Prométéo, commenced in the third quarter of 2023.
Electro-hydrogen propulsion
The future of clean mobility.
The challenge we are undertaking at Green Navy is to develop an innovative alternative to diesel powered boats. By combining the most recent technologies in the market, we design and build vessels which perform better, in terms of flexibility and care for the environment, than diesel current standards.
The propulsion system of Green Navy boats is unique.
Our catamarans are equipped with electro-hydrogen systems that triple propulsion efficiency chain, compared to standard thermal propulsion. This enhances the energy efficiency of our catamarans primary focus.
Our team of engineers has optimised the propulsion system and the architecture of the vessel to reduce its mass and provide an adaptable, efficient and environmentally-friendly solution.
On board, different energy management strategies which are used depending on the desired range. Two 130 KW engines propel our boats are powered by fuel cells combined with intermediate storage batteries.
Our boats are powered with Green Hydrogen derived from the electrolysis of water using renewable energy.
GH2 – zero emissions during production and use.
Impressive performance thanks to an intelligent propulsion management system:
- Range of 480km at 8.3 knots (15km/h), approximately 36 sailing hours.
- Range of 440km at 9.3 knots (17km/h), approximately 25 sailing hours.
- Maximum speed of 11,2 knots (20km/h), or 14 knots on demand.
- Recharges in just a few hours.
Define your project
Regardless of your desired configuration, our boats are available for medium and long-term lease and outright sale. Our team is available to discuss your project and build a solution to meet your needs.
